Sewing Class, Tuesday, January 13 in the Myrtlewood Room, 5:00pm – 7:30pm. Learn the basics of how to run a sewing machine with Kell Smith of OCATEC, then complete a project for hands-on learning! Winter Reading at CBPL

CBPL release - Beginning January 1, the Coos Bay Public Library will offer an all-ages Winter Reading Challenge to encourage people to read this winter. Participants who read (or listen) to three books will get a cool one-of-a-kind Coos Bay Public Library sticker and an entry into the grand prize drawing. People who read more will earn more entries into the drawing. All entries must be submitted by February 28. Winter Reading is offered every year to encourage people to read and use their local library during the coldest months of the year.
