Coos Bay Public Library, 525 Anderson Ave., Coos Bay, OR - Build it! Challenge, Thursday, June 26 in the Myrtlewood Room, 10:30am – 11:30am, Ages 4-14. Get ready to BUILD using the library's Lego® collection! Our competition will be broken down into a series of challenges. The person able to complete the most challenges will win a copy of Monkey Palace, a Lego®Board Game. All materials provided. *Judging will be up to the discretion of judges. Frit & Veg Stamping - Thursday, June 26 in the Myrtlewood Room, 2:30pm – 4:00pm, Join us to use fruit and veggies to stamp designs on fabric - choose between totes or handkerchiefs. Ages 12-18. No experience necessary - all supplies provided.

Community Cooking with the Co-op

Coos Bay Public Library, in partnership with Coos Head Food Co-op, will co-host COMMUNITY COOKING WITH THE CO-OP every fourth Thursday at 5:30pm on Zoom (virtual meeting software). Next event: Thursday, June 26. Coos Bay Library has teamed up with Coos Head Food Co-op to provide safe, easy, and healthy recipes to create at home. Join us virtually for this fun community event! Next month, culinary instructor, Valerie Verkeke, will be making Orzo Mexicana con Esquites (Orzo with Pepitas Pesto and Roasted Corn). This event is FREE and open to everyone. Get ready to build!

CBPL release - Kids ages 4-14 are invited to participate in the Build It! Summer Challenge using Lego® building blocks at the Coos Bay Public Library, Thursday, June 26 from 10:30am-11:30 am. During the competition, participants will be asked to complete a variety of challenges. The winner will receive a copy of Monkey Palace, a Lego® Board Game. All materials provided. All children under the age of eleven must be accompanied by an adult.
