This class is for total beginners and experienced practitioners who enjoy taking it slow. A focus on the foundational basics to gently move your body while using breath to focus your mind. These classes are anatomy and trauma-informed with props available for use. Similar to: hatha yoga, gentle yoga, yoga 1.  Bring a mat if you have one and plenty of water. Conversational Program, Saturday, September 12 in the Stacks, 10:30am - 11:30am.  We meet at the library every third Saturday @ 10:30am!  Program is for those who wish to practice their Spanish conversational skills and help other learners in a friendly setting. Attendees will have the opportunity to converse in Spanish as a group for one hour in a casual, informal environment. This is NOT a class but we will provide ideas for conversational topics. Book Brunch is a book club devoted to reading, unrestricted by genre, plus, of course, brunch! Each month we will read a book, then meet the second Saturday of the next month for waffles, orange juice, coffee etc., and a chat. This is a no pressure club, if you didn’t finish, that’s ok, just know there will be spoilers. We’re all here to share our love of books and breakfast food!  This month we will be reading More Than Enough by Anna Quindlen. Or crack a secret code?  Join us on Saturday, September 12 for Mission: Possible, a Saturday STEAM adventure for kids and families! Put your detective skills to the test as you solve secret messages using a variety of codes and ciphers. We'll have code-breaking activities for different ages and skill levels, so everyone can join the fun.  You'll also get to make your own cipher wheel to take home. A cipher wheel is a simple tool that lets you turn words into secret codes—and decode hidden messages!  Bring your curiosity, challenge your brain, and discover the excitement of solving puzzles together.
