Meet other parents or caregivers and learn songs, rhymes, and early literacy tips. Geared towards kids 0-14 months and an adult parent or caregiver. STEAM Time: How an Estuary Works, Tuesday, September 23 in the Myrtlewood Room, 11:00am – 11:30am, Ages 4-8 with a parent or caregiver. Books and hands-on activities with a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) focus for older preschoolers and home school students. Each week will be presented by a different community organization. September 23: How An Estuary Works. Learn more about how an estuary works from South Slough Educator Cherie Turner. Build a simple model of an estuary.
