A Christian heavy metal band that has performed under the name Demon Hunter for more than two decades has filed a federal lawsuit against Netflix, claiming the streaming giant’s hit animated franchise “KPop Demon Hunters” infringes on its trademark rights and has created confusion among consumers. The complaint was filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California by Hyde Lane Inc., the company that operates the band, Forbes reported.
