Cities and counties blast Oregon ethics commission; director faces ethics complaint

The Oregon Government Ethics Commission received a complaint on June 24 involving its own executive director, Susan Myers. Separately, a coalition representing local governments expressed concerns about the commission in a letter to the commission chair.

Cities and counties are blasting the Oregon Government Ethics Commission for its lack of “openness and good faith” in its work, and the commission’s director faces her own ethics complaint.
