Description
March is Red Cross Month ❤️ The City of Brookings is proud to recognize March 2026 as Red Cross Month and honor the incredible people who make the mission of the American Red Cross Cascades Region possible.
Mayor Phoebe Pereda is pictured with Karyn Johnsen-Dagenais, a dedicated Red Cross volunteer of 25 years and manager for Curry and Coos, and Bob Oneida, long time Red Cross volunteer.
In 2025 alone, the American Red Cross Cascades Region provided relief and recovery to more than 900 households, collected more than 166,000 units of blood, supported more than 5,000 service members, and trained more than 50,000 people in CPR, first aid, babysitting, and water safety.
Thank you to our Red Cross heroes for your compassion, service, and commitment to helping others when help can’t wait. ❣❣
