Councilor Sameer Kanal says he may call for oversight hearings into Home Forward.

City Hall’s appointments to public boards are usually perfunctory affairs. But the question Wednesday of who should be held accountable for deficiencies at low-income apartments managed by the area housing authority added an unusual layer of Sturm und Drang to a hearing about appointments to the Home Forward board.
