At 2:14 a.m. on Thursday, the National Weather Service released a wind advisory valid between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. for Eastern Columbia River Gorge of Oregon, Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon, Foothills of the Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon and North Central Oregon.
The weather service informs, "West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 35 to 50 mph expected."
