At 2:48 a.m. on Thursday, the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory valid between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. for Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon, Foothills of the Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon and North Central Oregon.

The weather service states, "West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected."
