Columbia Sportswear Company has cited this and other Columbia University-themed apparel as infringing on its COLUMBIA trademark in a lawsuit that a federal judge in Oregon has allowed to proceed.

A federal judge in Oregon has refused to dismiss a trademark infringement lawsuit brought by Columbia Sportswear Co. against Columbia University and declined to move the case to New York.
