Description

The sale and use of fireworks were banned in Portland in 2022, following deadly fires sparked by the popular Independence Day celebration aid.

More than 4,300 complaints about illegal fireworks have flooded Portland Fire & Rescue’s new, non-emergency online reporting tool since it launched on July 1, the city said.
