What a wonderful day celebrating Rogue Credit Union’s brand-new Coos Bay branch! The Bay Area Chamber of Commerce was honored to join the Rogue team, community members, and our Chamber Ambassadors to officially cut the ribbon and celebrate this exciting investment in our community. 💙

Rogue Credit Union has come a long way from its humble beginnings.

Their story began in 1956, when 10 Southern Oregon teachers gathered in the cafeteria of Jefferson Elementary School with a simple goal: create a member-owned cooperative where educators could help one another achieve greater financial well-being.

From operating first out of founder Jim Johnston’s living room and later his 100-square-foot garage, Rogue has grown to serve more than 240,000 members and manage more than $4 billion in assets.

Today, that continued growth can be seen right here in Coos Bay with this beautiful new branch at 840 S. Broadway!
