The Coos Bay City Council will meet on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 – 6:00 PM, Council Chambers - 500 Central Avenue, Coos Bay, Zoom Remote Attendance Link & YouTube Link Agenda: 1. Flag Salute; 2. Public Comments: The Public Comments period is intended for the public to share ideas and concerns; it is not intended for an interactive discussion with Council. There may be opportunities for public comments during specific agenda items that require a Public Hearing, members of the public are requested to confine their remarks to questions or issues under discussion during this time. During ANY designated comment period, individuals shall not engage in personal attacks, shall not impugn the motives of any speaker, and shall at all times, while in session conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. No person shall make personal, impertinent, slanderous or unauthorized remarks or become boisterous while addressing the Council. a. Public Comments; 3. Consent Calendar: a. Acceptance of April 2025 Financial Reports and Check Register; b. Consideration to Accept Housing Infrastructure Support Fund (HISF) Grant and Adopt Resolution 25-11 Appropriating the Grant Funds; c. Consideration to Accept Oregon State Marine Board Small Grant and Adopt Resolution 25-12 Appropriating the Grant Funds; d. Consideration to Accept Three Rivers Foundation Grant for Wildland PPE and Adopt Resolution 25-13 Appropriating the Grant Funds; 4. Presentation: a. Semi-Annual Presentation by Coos Bay Downtown Association; 5. Action Items: a. Approval of National Emergency Medical Services Week Proclamation; b. Approval of Building Safety Month Proclamation; c. Approval of National Public Works Week Proclamation; d. Public Hearing for Consideration of Supplemental Budget for 2024-2025 Fiscal Year Approval Would Require Adoption of Resolution 25-14; e. Adoption of Resolution 25-15 Authorizing a Loan from the Special Public Works Fund through Oregon Infrastructure Finance Authority for Construction of Pump Station 27 and Force Main; 6. City Manager's Report; 7. Mayor and Council Comments; 8. Adjourn.
