Description

Bob, a goldendoodle, sits between owners Rebekah and Karl Choltus at their home in Portland’s Southwest Hills on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Bob was recently attacked by a coyote while on a walk with Rebekah Choltus.

What started out for Rebekah Choltus as a typical walk in Southwest Portland ended in a rush to the veterinarian’s office, a stretch of restless nights and eight stitches for her 3-year-old goldendoodle Bob.
