You're invited! CHN to Break Ground on New Chemotherapy Infusion Center on Curry General Hospital campus
CHN warmly invites the public to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for its new Chemotherapy Infusion Center, taking place at 1 p.m. on June 26, 2025, at the southwest corner parking lot of Curry General Hospital, located at 94220 4th Street in Gold Beach. A reception will follow at Bethany Lutheran Church, 94190 5th Street.
This new infusion center represents a significant advancement in cancer care for Curry County residents, who currently must travel 90 minutes or more each way, within the state, to receive chemotherapy treatments. The facility will bring lifesaving cancer therapies much closer to home, easing the physical and financial burden on patients and their families during challenging times.
“Traveling long distances for treatment adds stress and hardship for patients already facing serious health battles,” said Ginny Williams, CEO of Curry Health Network (CHN). “By bringing chemotherapy services here, we are improving access to care, enhancing patient comfort, and supporting families in our community.”
To be considerate of patients’ needs, overflow parking will be available at the former Corner Drug building at 29670 Ellensburg Avenue, as well as at 94181 4th Street.
Community members, patients, healthcare partners, and local leaders are invited to join CHN on June 26 to celebrate this milestone in expanding quality care closer to home. Please join us!
