Description

Marganne Allen, 53, was struck and killed while riding her bike in Salem on March 28. Allen, a married mother of two children, was a longtime employee for the Oregon Department of Forestry and Oregon Department of Agriculture. Co-workers described her as a caring supervisor and mentor.

Oregon’s top attorneys have dropped a long-running attempt to prosecute a U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agent who allegedly ran a stop sign and killed a Salem cyclist in 2023.
