Dear Annie: Over 50 years ago, I left home to pursue my teaching career some 1,700 miles away. I’ve had a wonderful life, save for one thing: I feel ignored by my family.

Lane County Sheriff’s deputies assigned to Police Services must complete Patrol Field Training and Evaluation Process (FTEP). They adapt to different day off patterns and move between coaches in order to gain the knowledge required to be successful.
