Description

Thomas Strong, wearing a signature paper tie, is pictured on a trip to get snacks with some of his classmates. Strong, a Lakeview High School junior with special needs, died in February. Prosecutors have charged his mother and her boyfriend in connection to his death.

Advocacy group Disability Rights Oregon on Tuesday accused the state Department of Human Services of failing to prevent the death of a southern Oregon teenager allegedly killed by his mother and her boyfriend last year.
