Description

Cold weather last February prompted Multnomah County and the city of Portland announced the opening of three emergency shelters, like this one in the Hollywood neighborhood.

Multnomah County has not opened additional warming centers or severe weather shelters, nor do officials plan to do so during this week’s cold snap unless something changes, according to county officials.
