Description

Homeowners Skip Taylor, 61, and his wife, Paula Blanchet, of Victoria, British Columbia, said they celebrate Canada Day annually at their Hood River vacation home and rely on rental money to help them afford the house. They're among the plaintiffs challenging the Hood River short-term home rental rules.

Out-of-state owners of Hood River vacation homes Tuesday urged a federal appeals court to revive their lawsuit against the city and find that a city ordinance governing short-term rentals discriminates against them and favors local homeowners.
