Sweetie, a dog firefighters rescued from a Happy Valley retention pond on Saturday, gets cleaned up. Veterinarians gave Sweetie a clean bill of health and county officials expect to put her up for adoption, a Happy Valley spokesperson said.

A dog that Clackamas firefighters rescued from a Happy Valley retention pond on Saturday is doing well and will be put up for adoption through Clackamas County Dog Services, a Happy Valley spokesperson said Sunday.
