Earlier this month Sheriff Shanks swore in our newest Jail Commander, Lieutenant Josh McDowall. Our previous Jail Commander, Lt. Jamie Russell, is now our Administrative Lieutenant (the position previously held by now Sheriff Shanks). Josh joined our office in 2006 and has held the positions of Corrections Deputy, Corrections Corporal, and Corrections Sergeant before receiving this promotion. Congratulations, Lt.
