This week’s editorial cartoons are dominated by the news coming out of Venezuela and Washington following the capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro by U.S. military forces to face U.S. drug charges. President Donald Trump’s administration is working up a “sweeping plan” to take over Venezuela’s oil production, the Wall Street Journal reported. Trump met Friday with executives of U.S. oil companies, saying they would invest at least $100 billion of their own money to revitalize the country’s oil infrastructure.
