The Oregon Historical Society won’t shut down if Multnomah County voters reject its request for a levy renewal this May. Credit the museum’s executive director, Kerry Tymchuk, for acknowledging that the museum doesn’t need the money from the levy to survive, even if it might scale back some programs as a result.
