The cost of health insurance provided through Oregon employers reached record levels last year. In 2024, the average annual premium for employer-sponsored family health insurance in Oregon rose to $24,688, while coverage for a single worker averaged about $8,400, according to a new analysis by the State Health Access Data Assistance Center at the University of Minnesota. Both figures are the highest ever reported for the state.

The cost of health insurance provided through Oregon employers reached record levels last year, adding to the financial pressure many families already feel from rising health care costs.
