Julia Brim-Edwards (left), Shannon Singleton and Sharon Meieran (right) are all are vying to replace Chair Jessica Vega Perderson, who is not seeking a second term, in November’s election — the first at the county to use ranked-choice voting.

Two leading candidates for Multnomah County chair are each touting their growing roster of labor and other institutional backers while a third is publicly forswearing such political support as the race begins to take shape.
