Eugene Airport Rotary: Early Birds, New Members, and Yoda on the Podium District Governor Chris Waugh visited the Eugene Airport Club on Thursday, March 5th at 7:30 am—fueled by a delicious bacon and egg breakfast upstairs at the airport! A special highlight: Judi Beard-Strubing, our District's first female District Governor, was in the house! A true trend-setter and hero to many. Membership Chair David Bondurant (right) inducted new member Jaimie Riddle (center) with help from Cathie Campbell. Governor Waugh snagged a copy of their induction script—it beautifully emphasizes that Rotary membership is both an honor and a responsibility, calling members to regular attendance, service, and sharing skills to advance Rotary's values.
