Eugene Club Laulima Luau: Many Hands, Great Bids, Hawaiian Dreams Thursday, March 5th brought the Eugene Club's annual Laulima Luau and Auction to the beautiful Shedd Institute. The name says it all—"Laulima" means "many hands working together" in Hawaiian, and this club's hands were busy! A wonderful time was had by all, with food, fun, and fundraising filling the evening. District Governor Chris Waugh couldn't resist getting in on the action—he bid on and won a Hawaiian vacation! The catch? It'll have to wait until after his year as DG is complete.
