Ancient marine fossils embedded in rocks near the summit of Mount Everest are drawing renewed attention after social media users pointed to the discovery as a possible link to the biblical story of Noah’s Ark and the Great Flood. Geologists, however, say the fossils are long-established evidence of plate tectonics and the mountain’s origins on an ancient seafloor, Yahoo! reported.
