Robert Covington took the witness stand Wednesday, June 25, and described a party he hosted with other Trail Blazer players and their guests at his Lake Oswego home on the night of Oct. 2, 2021 that stretched into the early morning hours of Oct. 3, 2021. Covington said he saw tears falling from McLemore's eyes and went outside to talk to him. He learned McLemore was upset about the loss of his younger brother Kevin McLemore, who died in 2018 while attending college in California.Robert Covington on Wed., June 25, described a party he hosted with other Blazer players and their guests at his Lake Oswego home on the night of Oct. 2, 2021, that continued into the early morning hours of Oct. 3, 2021. McLemore , 32, is accused of raping a woman who had passed out drunk on the couch in Covington's living room.Robert Covington described the layout of his home in Lake Oswego.

Former Trail Blazer Robert Covington took the witness stand Wednesday in the rape trial of former teammate Ben McLemore, testifying that he saw a woman trying to arouse McLemore while the two were on a couch in Covington’s Lake Oswego home in the predawn hours of Oct. 3, 2021.
