Description
Exciting News from Lower Umpqua Hospital District!đ
We are thrilled to announce our two outstanding Employees of the Year:
âBill Tollefson - Clinical Informaticist
Bill joined LUHD in January 2019, starting off as a Receptionist at RMC. He transitioned into his role as a Clinical Informaticist in July of 2020, as we were changing our EMR (and in a Pandemic!). Bill's background in IT, and his excellent customer service skills have served the District well, he is always so kind and helpful and really sets the standard of a team player. Bill demonstrates patience with all staff, helps the patients with access to the on-line portal and is always willing to help anyone, even if he is on the way out the door.
âKaley Sweet - Sr. Director of Marketing & Communications
Kaley joined LUHD in June of 2023 as the Director of Public Relations. She has been instrumental in seeking out and applying for multiple grants that the District has been awarded. These grants helped bring 3D Mammography to the District, and supported the recent relocation of the Retail Pharmacy to Mainstreet. She has been instrumental in hosting fundraising events including the annual Putt for Pink Golf Benefit and is the President of the Hospital Foundation. Kaley was promoted to Senior Director of Marketing and Communications in October of 2024. She continues to build relationships across the District and the community which is beneficial in our engagement.
đCongratulations to Bill and Kaley for their outstanding contributions! We are proud to have you on our team and grateful for everything you do for our hospital District. đđ
