Description
The 49ers come out of their bye with good news and bad news. The good news is that Nick Bosa is back after missing five games with a calf injury, and Christian McCaffrey was cleared after a mild hamstring strain in the Week 7 loss to Atlanta. Both practiced fully Friday, and Kyle Shanahan says both will play. The bad news is at wide receiver. Mike Evans (Achilles), Deebo Samuel (hamstring) and Christian Kirk (knee) are all out, and Kirk’s meniscus injury might need surgery. Demarcus Robinson is expected to be activated from injured reserve, but Brock Purdy will be throwing mostly to George Kittle, McCaffrey and whichever receivers are healthy enough to play.
