Students crowd the staircase at Grant High School in Northeast Portland. Portland Public Schools is considering proposals to shift enrollment boundaries, boosting enrollment at Jefferson High School in North Portland and sunsetting dual enrollment zones.

Portland Public Schools is floating five scenarios for how it might radically reshape high school enrollment patterns in North and Northeast Portland, and the changes could begin as early as fall 2027.
