While an estimated 80,000 people died from overdoses last year, according to the CDC, that’s down 27% from 2023.

Oregon State Police are investigating whether "Freeway Killer" Randy Kraft is responsible for the murder of a former Oregon John Doe, now identified as Larry Parks.

It’s among a dozen recommendations from Oregon’s Department of Human Services.

The new rule will go into effect on May 27.
