A cyclospora outbreak linked to iceberg lettuce from Taylor Farms de Mexico resulted in over 12,000 illnesses, 495 hospitalizations, and two deaths before being declared over on Sept. 11, 2026.

Nearly two months after the Food and Drug Administration launched an investigation into a cyclospora outbreak linked to more than 12,000 infections, 495 hospitalizations and two deaths, the administration has declared the outbreak officially over.
