A fifth-grade student and a teacher drowned at a lake during an Iowa school field trip.

A 10-year-old student and a 24-year-old teacher drowned during a school field trip to an Iowa lake Tuesday, a tragedy that has prompted the district to cancel all future trips “for the foreseeable future.”
