A Nestucca Rural Fire Protection District rescue crew helps a surfer ascend a rock cliff face after he was stuck in a rip current and pushed into the cliff on Saturday.

Two surfers were caught in a rip current off Oregon’s Cape Kiwanda beach Saturday afternoon, spurring a rescue effort by the Nestucca Rural Fire Protection District and other government agencies.
