The Fourth of July is the traditional day for fireworks shows across our nation on Independence Day; however, some communities like to go on July 3rd. Leading the way is "The Blast by The Bay," at North Bend put on by the Coquille Tribe at the Ko-Kwel Casino. The 20-minute show will begin at 10 p.m. A little further up the Coast, Waldport also has a traditional fireworks show July 3rd over Alsea Bay beginning at 10 p.m.
