A flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 2:59 p.m. in effect until 6 p.m. for Baker and Malheur counties.
"At 2:59 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the western and northern parts of the Durkee Fire Burn Scar. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly," states the weather service. "Flooding of areas in and around the Durkee Fire Burn Scar."
