Vishal Garg, the founder of Better Home & Finance who drew national attention in 2021 after laying off hundreds of employees during a video call, is seeking to regain control of the mortgage technology company after being removed as chief executive earlier this month. Garg contends that the company was on the verge of a financial recovery when the board replaced him with investor Daniel Lewis, KVIA said.
