Chad M. Westover, 53, was sentenced to life in prison with the chance of parole in 25 years during a hearing Mon., Feb. 23, 2026.

An Oregon City contractor and former Portland Public Schools teacher was sentenced to life in state prison Monday in the 2024 killing of Tristan Thomas, an off-duty Portland mailman.
