On Thursday at 8:25 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a freezing fog advisory in effect until Friday at 10 a.m. for Foothills of the Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
“Visibility one half mile or less in freezing fog,” can be anticipated according to the weather service. “Road cams near Fossil on OR-218 show very obscured roads as of this evening. Other parts of the Southern Foothills could see areas of freezing fog. Drivers should prepare for the possibility of sudden visibility changes. Freezing temperatures overnight could make roads slick. Use extra pre-caution.”
