Description

Oregon Department of Transportation crews work on repaving a section of highway near the Big Cliff Dam. Oregonians will not see transportation tax increases in January after a campaign to refer the tax hikes to voters submitted more than twice the signatures required.

The Republican-led group attempting to halt a scheduled increase to Oregon’s transportation taxes said Friday they submitted more than enough signatures to allow voters the final say next November.
