GOODWILL INDUSTRIES ROUNDS UP FOR THE COOS COUNTY STAND DOWN TO SUPPORT VETERANS IN OUR NORTH BEND COMMUNITY

From Sunday July 5th to Saturday July 11th, 2026, customers shopping at the Goodwill store in North Bend will have the opportunity to “round-up” their purchases for the 2026 Coos County Stand Down being held on Thursday, August 20th from 9am to 2pm at the North Bend Community Center. Goodwill will donate the funds received during the Round Up for Stand Down to further support the veterans in our community.

As part of its veterans’ services program, Goodwill has experienced employment specialists to provide Job Connections services and guidance to veterans and their families. Job Connections provides individuals with opportunities for one-on-one job placement assistance, resume and career exploration, veteran and community resource information, and referrals to local employers based on employment goals, experience, and skills. Goodwill also helps with the application and interview process, follow-up on job search progress, and access to computers and internet.
