Oregon Governor Tina Kotek addresses a crowd inside the Oregon State Capitol on Jan. 13. On Tuesday, Kotek defended Oregon’s sanctuary laws in a letter to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi and disputed her assertions that the state has hampered enforcement of federal immigration laws.
