Ja Morant says he’s “not a big grudge guy.” Even so, Thursday night at the Moda Center is the first time he’ll face Memphis since the Grizzlies traded him to Portland for Jerami Grant and Kris Murray in June. The setting makes it even bigger. The Blazers (3-0) and Grizzlies (4-0) are both undefeated, and Portland has looked like one of the best teams in the league. The Blazers have scored at least 124 points in every game, lead the NBA with a +18.6 net rating, and just beat Luka Doncic and the Lakers 136-129 on the road. Morant has been efficient as the second option, shooting 58.8% from the field and 44.4% from three. He scored 23 on 9-of-13 shooting in Los Angeles.
