JULIET DAVISON TAKES OATH OF OFFICE On December 15, 2025, Juliet Davison was administered her oath of office by Chief Chris Chapanar as a Community Service Officer for the City of Coos Bay/Coos Bay Police Department. Among the many critical duties of the Community Service Officer are enforcement of Coos Bay municipal codes, particularly regarding attractive nuisance violations, as well as buildings, landscaping, and signage. The Community Service Officer will proactively engage in identifying code violations and begin working to find ways to remedy the problem.
