For use and carry of a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence, Boggess faces a mandatory minimum sentence of seven years in prison, a maximum sentence of life in prison, to be served consecutively to any other sentence, a $250,000 fine, and five years of supervised release. Boggess will be sentenced on October 7, 2026, before a U.S. district court judge.  U.S. Attorney Scott E. Bradford of the District of Oregon made the announcement.  The FBI and Bend Police Department are investigating the case.
