On June 28, our officers ran the Law Enforcement Torch Run alongside partner agencies from across the region, carrying the Flame of Hope for Special Olympics Oregon.

Known as Guardians of the Flame, officers and Special Olympics athletes run the torch across the state each summer on its way to the Summer State Games. It is the largest grassroots fundraiser for Special Olympics, and it is one of the best days on our calendar.

Thank you to every agency and volunteer that ran with us, and to the athletes who ran beside us. You are the reason we run.
